Sandeman 40 Year Old Tawny Port – Bottled in 2006. Caramel and hazelnuts on the nose. Crème Brule and bright acidity. Coating mouthfeel and medium-long finish. 91 points. 3/12/2010

1890 Burmester Colheita Port – Vegetative notes on the nose. Somewhat cloudy, brownish green tone in color. Chocolate and herbal notes on the palate. Some heat on the mid-palate and finish. Still some very good acidity. 89 points. 3/12/2010

2007 Ramos Pinto Quinta da Ervamoira Vintage Port – Dark purple in color with only slight lightening around the edges. Violets and dark fruit on the nose. Intense black cherry and huge tannins on the mid-palate. Mouth-watering tannins on the long finish. 93 points. 3/12/2010

2007 Ramos Pinto Vintage Port – Floral notes on the nose. Tight tannins on the approach. Tannins ascend through the mid-palate and the fruit lingers deep into the long finish. 92 points. 3/12/2010
