S. Leonardo 40 Year Old Tawny Port. Bottled in 2015. Light amber-orange in color. Subtle nose of citrus and dried lemon. On the palate, there are some nice chocolate and light medicinal notes. Nice long finish and the acidity is there, but there is just a slightly off note on this bottle for me. 93 points. 10/15/2022
Quinta da Romaneira 40 Year Old Tawny Port. Bottled in 2018. Light amber-yellow in color. Fantastic nose of Christmas spices, very light chocolate, and some wood notes. New cardboard and Slate on the nose. Bright acidity with woody notes, some light tannins, and just a touch of bitterness at the very end of a long finish. 95 points. 10/15/2022
Quevedo 40 Year Old Tawny Port. Bottled in 2015. Brown-yellow in color. Some herbal notes on the nose with lime and gingerbread. Very elegant flavor profile with honey and dried fruit. There are pleasant, sweet waves of rich flavors that appear on the mid-palate. There are some tannins on the finish but overall the finish has a nice balance. 93 points. 10/15/2022
