Vista Allegra 40 Year Old Tawny Port – Bottled in 2017. Amber-yellow in color. Brooding, impressive nose with mahogany and molasses. Rich mouthfeel with complex notes of brown sugar, orange spice, honey, molasses and a touch of citrus. This is simply a stellar wine. 96 points. 12/5/2020

1987 Kopke Colheita Port – Bottled in 2003. Amber-orange in color with some light sediment present. There is something funky on the nose of this wine that reminds me of a locker room at a pool, leading me to believe this is an off bottle. It is medium-bodied on the palate, and while the level of funkiness on the nose didn’t follow through to the palate it still felt slightly disjointed. 89 points. 12/5/2020

1964 Poças Colheita Port – Bottled in 2008. Dark amber-orange in color. Clear. Pine resin and spices on the nose. Some chocolate and caramel notes on the palate with some cinnamon apple notes underneath. Tremendous, long finish with molasses and rich candied orange notes. 92 points. 12/5/2020
